This busy mother of three children needed to make their family room safer and friendlier for her little ones. Yet she had no time! The rods of the heavy drapes were ready to fall causing a certain hazard for the children.

We added warmth to the room by changing the wall color, this made the large room a bit darker yet more soothing. On the focal wall we then added a painted finish for interest. The entire family is pleased with the results. When we installed the large custom rug the 6 year-old child did hand springs across the diagonal of the rug. Just like an Olympian! Now that’s a family room.
